Polypropylene Bauer ring is a kind of high efficient bulk packing, which is widely used in chemical, petroleum, environmental protection and other fields of tower equipment for gas-liquid mass transfer process. Its unique structural design gives it excellent fluid distribution properties, low pressure drop and high mass transfer efficiency.
Application fields:
1. Environmental engineering
Waste gas treatment: Widely used in scrubbers and absorption towers, it is employed to purify industrial waste gases containing acidic gases (such as SO₂, HCl) or alkaline gases (such as NH₃), featuring low pressure and high purification efficiency.
Wastewater treatment: It is used in the stripping tower to remove volatile pollutants such as ammonia nitrogen from water, and it can also serve as a carrier for biofilms in the biological filter tower.
2. Chemical Separation Engineering
Gas purification: Used in processes such as ammonia synthesis and natural gas purification to remove carbon dioxide (CO₂).
Gas drying: Used in packed towers to dry various industrial gases such as air, chlorine, and hydrogen.
3. Cooling and Cryogenic Separation Industry
Circulating water cooling: As the core filler of the cooling tower, it cools the circulating water through the heat and mass exchange between water and air, featuring high cooling efficiency and low ventilation resistance.
Air separation equipment: Used as heat and mass transfer components in systems such as air pre-cooling systems.
