This balance of efficient mass transfer and low-flow resistance has led to its broad application in chlor-alkali drying and purification towers, synthetic ammonia decarbonization and desulfurization systems, as well as petroleum refining processes including atmospheric-vacuum units and ethylbenzene separation. Additionally, their symmetrical structure promotes uniform stacking, significantly enhancing clog resistance and reducing blockage rates in wastewater treatment and solid-laden exhaust gas applications—thereby lowering maintenance requirements.

From a market perspective, PVC Pall Ring production is primarily concentrated in East, North, and South China, with the eastern region accounting for 43.2% of total national capacity—closely aligned with the distribution of downstream chemical parks and environmental projects. As green manufacturing policies under the 14th Five-Year Plan continue to be implemented, and initiatives such as urban wastewater treatment upgrades and industrial park centralized treatment projects advance, environmental engineering has become a major end-user of PVC Pall Rings, representing 41.3% of total demand. Emerging applications, including exhaust gas treatment in lithium battery industrial parks, are also creating new growth opportunities.
