The 13X-APG molecular sieve is based on the standard 13X molecular sieve. Through a special ion exchange process and formulation optimization, its ability to simultaneously remove carbon dioxide (CO₂) and water (H₂O) has been significantly enhanced, and it also has extremely low co-adsorption characteristics. It is specifically developed to meet the demanding requirements of modern large-scale deep cryogenic air separation units.
13X-APG is specifically designed for modern large-scale deep cryogenic air separation units, and is used to deeply purify the air before it enters the deep cryogenic distillation tower. Its key functions are reflected in:
- Prevent equipment blockage: Efficiently remove water (H₂O) and carbon dioxide (CO₂) from the raw material air. Prevent these components from freezing or forming dry ice in the subsequent low-temperature heat exchangers and distillation towers, thereby avoiding forced shutdown of the equipment.
- Ensure oxygen purity: Its unique low argon co-adsorption property is a key advantage, which can effectively prevent argon from being mixed into the product gas flow during regeneration, ensuring that the output oxygen purity remains stable and reaches a high standard (typically ≥ 99.6%).
- Enhance operational efficiency: With higher adsorption capacity and mechanical strength, it supports a longer adsorption working cycle and can withstand frequent switching and regeneration, ensuring the air separation unit operates for a long period of time with stability and reliability.
