Activated alumina is a porous and highly dispersed solid material with an extremely high specific surface area and a rich pore structure. Its outstanding physical properties make it an excellent adsorbent, desiccant and catalyst carrier, playing a significant role in the fields of petrochemicals, gas purification, and water treatment.
Application fields
1. Gas deep drying: Widely used in air separation units, petroleum cracking gas, and smelting gas for deep dehydration. The dew point can reach -70℃.
2. Water treatment and purification: Effectively removes excessive fluoride ions from drinking water, and simultaneously adsorbs harmful substances such as arsenic.
3. Petrochemical industry: Used as a catalyst carrier in important reaction processes such as hydrogenation and reforming.
4. Industrial Process: Used for dehydration and refining of oil products such as transformer oil and lubricating oil.
5. Environmental Protection Field: Treat fluorine-containing industrial wastewater and adsorb and recover volatile organic compounds.
