The ceramic Raschig ring is one of the earliest developed types of loose packing. It has a simple shape, being a circular ring with a height equal to its diameter. The ceramic Raschig ring exhibits excellent resistance to acid and heat. It can withstand corrosion from various inorganic acids, organic acids, and organic solvents except hydrofluoric acid. It can be used in various high-temperature environments and has a wide range of applications, including drying towers, absorption towers, cooling towers, washing towers, and regeneration towers in industries such as chemical engineering, metallurgy, gas, and environmental protection.
