Iron Carbon Filler is a medium specifically designed for advanced wastewater treatment processes, particularly suitable for the micro-electrolysis (Fe-C) system. This filler is made of high-purity iron-carbon alloy and utilizes the electrochemical reaction between iron (Fe) and carbon (C) to degrade organic pollutants, remove heavy metals, and enhance the biodegradability of wastewater. It is widely used in wastewater treatment in industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and electroplating to address complex pollution issues.
Application fields:
- Chemical industry: Wastewater from the production of pesticides, pharmaceutical intermediates, dyes and their intermediates.
- Pharmaceutical industry: High-concentration organic wastewater generated during the production of antibiotics and chemically synthesized drugs.
- Electroplating and Metal Processing: Wastewater containing heavy metals such as chromium (Cr⁶⁺), copper (Cu²⁺), zinc (Zn²⁺), and nickel (Ni²⁺).
- Dyeing and Textile Industry: Wastewater with high color intensity, high COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), and containing difficult-to-degrade dyes.
