  • The Plastic polyhedral hollow ball is made of engineering plastics such as polypropylene (PP), PVC, CPVC, and PVDF. It is composed of two symmetrical hemispheres that form a complete sphere. Each hemisphere has 8 to 12 semi-elliptical blades on its surface, arranged in an interlaced pattern. 
    This filler has the structural characteristics of a large specific surface area and a high void ratio. However, during actual operation, due to the dense distribution of the blades, they tend to cause shading effects among each other, which affects the uniform distribution of the liquid and the surface wetting effect. At the same time, the liquid is prone to accumulate in the central cavity area of the sphere, forming an air flow obstruction, resulting in an increase in the system's operating resistance.

    Application fields:
    1. Environmental Protection Engineering 
    Waste gas treatment: Used for devices such as acid mist purification towers, alkali washing towers, and organic waste gas absorption towers. 
    Wastewater treatment: Remove ammonia nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide and other soluble gases in the stripping tower. 
    Smoke gas treatment: As the mass transfer elements for equipment such as desulfurization towers and demisting devices
