Metal triangular spiral packing, also known as Fenske packing, is a highly efficient separation packing made by winding metal wires. Its shape is similar to a spring, but with a unique structure: each layer is wound into a triangle instead of a circle, and the adjacent layers are arranged at a specific angle and staggered from each other. When viewed from the end face, it presents a polygonal outline.
This filler has excellent separation performance. Although its flow resistance is slightly higher than that of the 0-ring filler, its separation efficiency is higher. Currently, it is mainly used in laboratory settings, especially in the nuclear industry, where it is widely employed in the separation and purification processes of isotopes.Application fields:
1. Nuclear industry sector (core application)- It is specifically used for the separation and purification of radioactive isotopes such as uranium isotopes (²³⁵U/²³⁸U), deuterium, and tritium.
- Its extremely high separation efficiency and radioactive-resistant materials meet the special requirements of the nuclear industry.
2. Research Laboratory
- Provide ultra-high purity preparation of reference substances and standard substances for analytical instruments such as GC-MS and NMR.
